Yoga for children Yoga is an ideal way to help children in their daily life. By using a number of postures accompanied by deep breathing, children participate actively in their growth. The objective is to stimulate their imagination, so they can practice yoga with the minimum effort and maximum of joy. Hence the name,"Yoga of animals and elements of nature". Children enter a magical world where they can identify with different animals and elements of nature, being the space freely playing with movement and sound (eg being lions, cats,trees, mountains, volcano lava...).
Yoga can help children to:- Develop both body and spatial awareness.
- Balance both hemispheres of the brain.
- Aid coordination.
- Improve balance and flexibility.
- Use their listening skills.
- Release pent-up emotions.
- Focus the mind and improve concentration.
- Become more aware of positive thinking.
- Be themselves.
Starting from 3 years old. Sessions are 45min to 1 hour. Wednesdays 2pm - 3:15pm - 4:30pm - 5:45pm Free trial. Cost: 12 euro. 10 session card/110 euro - 20/210 euro - 30/300 euro.
Parents are welcome to sit-in on the session. We offer this service at our own studio, private houses and schools.
